The Santa Clauses episode 6 finale recap with ending spoilers
Finding your Christmas spirit is always easier when you have some festive viewing to tuck into and Disney+ delivered a great gift this year in the form of The Santa Clauses. Disney has delivered a bunch of seasonal classics over the years and one of its most iconic from the nineties is definitely 1994’s The Santa Clause.
The Tim Allen movie was cherished by families everywhere and led to the release of two sequels, the most recent – subtitled The Escape Clause – being released in 2006.
Since then, we’ve not heard so much as a peep from Tim’s Scott Calvin. Well, until the recent Disney+ series sequel, that is.
It began premiering on the platform back in November but the finale finally reached fans on Wednesday, December 14th 2022.
Now that it’s here, let’s offer a The Santa Clauses episode 6 recap.

It’s Christmas Eve and the pressure is on to ensure the big day and the North Pole are saved just in time.
The Wobbly Woods Witch learns of the Calvins venturing back to the North Pole so goes to get the red coat, only to find it it has vanished once more.
Meanwhile, Simon finds the magic horse but misses Carol and the others. The Calvins, on the other hand, are busy looking for Scott, who remains in a cell, and Simon is unable to begin the Santa-fication process” because of the missing ingredient… the red coat.
Without the suit, the transformation will be impossible. However, a conversation about this is overheard and Simon is finally told what he must do to complete the process.
This becomes a race, as whoever wears the suit has power over the North Pole. So, Simon dispatches drones to bring the coat to him while Grace brings her a gift. Once there, he tells her that he doesn’t want it because he’s about to achieve everything, alluding to his search for the suit.
The Santa Clauses season 1 ending
The Calvins recruit Noel – he’s missing Betty – to help them track down Scott. They do just that and Scott gets the coat, but not before Sandra asks for Lewis’ help on their mission.
However, Simon threatens to torch the coat, although Grace is able to save the day temporarily because another problem pops up. The orb that measures Christmas spirit is gone and when they find it the center is black, indicating it’s at an all-time low.
Scott takes the guilt on his shoulders but when he gives his family a heartfelt hug it causes the spirits to skyrocket, encouraging the return of the elves to save Christmas. Betty and Noel are reunited and Scott fulfills his duties as Santa, making up for earlier stepping down.
Yet, the difference now is that he invited his family to accompany him on his sleigh delivering presents. Closing out the night, Cal gifts Riley with her favorite flowers and they share a kiss.

‘That’s all affecting Santa’s magic’
Executive producer Jason Winer was recently interviewed by ScreenRant, who asked what stamp they wanted to leave on the franchise and Scott’s story:
“I think it’s connecting this awesome franchise and character journey to what’s happening in the world around us right now. Consumerism is at an all-time high, there’s a spirit of ‘What can I get?’ rather than ‘What can I give?’, and all of that and that feeling that we’re disconnected a little bit from each other, that’s all affecting Santa’s magic.”
He added: “So, this is just a great vessel through which, in a really fun, sometimes ridiculous, magical way, tackle some stuff that’s happening around us. It’s a funhouse mirror way to look at the world.”
The Santa Clauses is streaming exclusively on Disney+.
