Reality TV star Chris Soules arrested after police say he fled the scene of a fatal accident

A popular reality TV Star from Iowa has been arrested after a deadly crash last night.

According to the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office, the former star of ABC’s The Bachelor who is from Arlington, Iowa fled the scene of a collision that resulted in death. Soules appeared on Season 19 of The Bachelor back in 2015. He also appeared on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars. Police say he was arrested at 1:16 this morning. The accident happened around 8 p.m. last night on County Highway W45, a rural road near Arlington.

An Iowa State Patrol crash report claims Soules was driving a Chevy pickup truck when when he allegedly rear-ended a John Deere tractor trailer. The person driving the tractor trailer, 66-year-old Kenneth Mosher of Aurora, Iowa was taken in an ambulance to the hospital, where he died.
