Quad-Cities nuclear plant names VP
Exelon announced a new vice president Tuesday for the Quad Cities nuclear plant in Cordova.
Ken Ohr has been named site vice president of Quad Cities Generating Station, replacing Scott Darin, who has held the position since 2014. Ohr has nearly 25 years of industry experience and extensive knowledge of station operations, serving as the Cordova plant manager since 2015.
“Quad Cities has a proud history of safe, reliable operations, and I look forward to carrying that legacy forward,” Ohr said. “I’m proud to live and work in the Quad Cities area, and I’m committed to ensuring that our employees remain active in the community through civic engagement, charitable contributions and volunteerism.”
Ohr graduated from the University of Illinois-Champaign and resides in East Moline with his wife and two sons.
