Naziha Salim was born in 1927 in Istanbul, Turkey. From an early age, she enjoyed making paintings. She completed her education at Baghdad Fine Arts Institute, where she studied arts and painting and completed graduation.
After that, she won the scholarship and Naziha was one of the first women who gets the scholarship to study abroad. Later, she continues her education in Paris.
