DeAndre Hopkins Parents
DeAndre Hopkins was bron on 6 June 1992 to Harris Steve Hopkins (Father) and Sabrina Greenlee (Mother). His father passed away in a car accident on I-85 in November 192 when DeAndre was 5 months old.
He along with his three siblings was raised by his single mother. His mother did two jobs throughout his childhood. She worked at an automotive factory.
What Happened to DeAndre Hopkins’ Father?
DeAndre’s parents were on the way to their home from visiting family in Atlanta. DeAndre’s parents were in Ford Mustang GTS which hydroplaned on the rain-soaked road after making a turn.
The car flipped three times before striking a guardrail on the driver’s side. DeAndre’s mother was injured with minor injuries but his father passed away at the age of 25. His father left DeAndre’s mother alone to raise DeAndre and his three siblings.

Arizona Cardinals released the three times All-Pro wide receivers on 26 May 2023. DeAndre will get to choose to play in 2023. It’s not surprising that DeAndre won’t suit up for Arizona. It is stunning to see DeAndre hit the open market.
The other 31 teams will all have the opportunity to sing the 5-time Pro Bowl wideout. DeAndre made it clear which quarterbacks he’d like to play for. It doesn’t mean those teams need to or will want to add DeAndre to their roster.

DeAndre Hopkins Siblings
DeAndre Hopkins has three siblings including two sisters and a brother. His sisters’ names are Kesha Smith and Shanterria Cobb. His brother’s name is Marcus.
Kesha is a Southern Wesleyan University graduate and moved to Houston in 2014 where she works as a basketball trainer and a slot receiver for the Houston Energy of the Independent Women’s Football League.
Shanterria Cobb is also a basketball player who signed a letter of intent in the spring of 2016 at Texas Southern University to play basketball. She had been three times all-region selection in basketball at D.W. Daniel High School.
DeAndre’s brother Marcus was a standout basketball and football player in high school. He attended Georgia Military College.
